Isopropyl Alcohol (99.8% purity). Anhydrous. A volatile, colourless liquid. 

We use Isopropanol in our lab as a dilutant for Pyrite Stop, and as a wash for pyritic fossils whilst they are undergoing treatment to prevent and stop pyrite decay. 

Highly flammable liquid and vapour. Causes serious eye irritation. May cause drowsiness or dizziness. Keep away from heat/sparks/open flames/hot surfaces. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Store in a well-ventilated place. Keep cool.
