We are at the BAKEWELL ROCK EXCHANGE on the 8th and 9th of October. Come try out our tools! Bring your own fossils to prep or try out on some of ours.

The two specimens on the left are carboniferous corals, the lower specimen has an attractive red limestone matrix.  The specimen on the top right is a nautilus from the junction bed with chambers filled with orange calcite.  At the bottom right are two chambers of an Eoderoceras ammonite from Charmouth.  They are filled with yellowish green calcite and have pyritic chamber walls.  The other specimens are a variety of junction bed ammonites in pale cream limestone.

These fossils have been wetted to show their features. When they arrive with you, they will be fairly dull and dusty looking (polishing gives them that permanent 'wet-look').
